Behrman House Publishers
We have been designing effective Jewish educational books and promotional materials for this prominent Jewish book publisher for the past 20 years. A Hebrew language educational series that we designed set a new standard for that category, and a book we designed on Jewish life cycle events was named one of the top ten books of the year by Publishers Weekly. When they launched their consulting group, we developed the brand identity, website and marketing materials to promote the new venture. Read more.
We developed the branding for a venture between the Board and Suffolk Adult Jewish Education Services called ENGAJE! as well as the promotion for their kick-off event that was extremely well received. This project was done through the UJA-Federation’s Management Assistance Program and was one of the examples presented in their 25th year anniversary ceremony. See the design.
To help promote a fundraising bike ride, we developed a promotional campaign of posters and postcards. To help riders fundraise, we developed a fundraising guide. See the case study.

Jewish Community Center, Deal, NJ
We handled all the marketing for this JCC, transforming their humdrum materials into engaging, award-wining promotion that helped transform the professionalism of their marketing, attract participation in programs, and promote their most successful fundraising event ever.

Jewish Community Center of Mid-Westchester
We updated the look for this JCC with a comprehensive brand program that resulted in a new logo and tagline, a new look for their program guide and outreach materials, as well as coordinated marketing for Maccabi recruitment and sponsorship materials that resulted in a successful event. See the case study.

Jewish Community Relations Council of NY
We created a highly-effective campaign to promote an event encouraging voter participation among young adult Jews. The ads in Jewish Week, postcards, emails and website attracted over 40 sponsors, thousands of attendees and an over-abundance of volunteers as well as raising the awareness about voting to tens of thousands of young Jews in their 20s and 30s. See the ad.

Jewish Education Project
We are helping this newly-renamed organization to implement their new brand successfully throughout their 65-person staff and to all their audiences. See the case study.

Jewish Family & Children’s Services, Asbury Park, NJ
We conducted an awareness survey that measured perceptions about the agency, and then revitalized their brand and developed a series of newsletters to create awareness in the community.

Jewish Federation of Greater Middlesex County
We developed a comprehensive brand strategy to create more visibility for the Federation in the county. The process included a survey with 600 responses, tagline development, brochure, ad, and presentation. See the case study.

National Council of Jewish Women
We worked with this national organization on a variety of projects including their Voter Outreach Campaign and Domestic Violence Prevention Program as well as organizational marketing such as their annual report.

Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services
We developed a brand to unify the six divisions of this 40-year-old social service agency in the Orthodox community in Brooklyn.
See case study.
Shemah Koleinu
We developed the brand and website to launch this new organization dedicated to engaging unaffiliated Jewish in South Florida. See the website.
Sid Jacobson Jewish Community Center
We created brand templates that update the look for this JCC and allow them to develop professional newsletters, program guides and other materials in-house.

Red Rooster Group Builds Jewish Community
In addition to working with Jewish organizations directly, we are involved in building the capacity of the Jewish communal world, through both established organizations, as well as with smaller organizations. We have supported the Jewish sector as:
• Member of the Executive Committee as Marketing Chair and Design Director for Hazon’s NY Jewish Environmental Bike Ride overseeing recruitment and fundraising. As a result of his efforts, riders raised more on average than the previous year despite the recession and Red Rooster Group Principal Howard Adam Levy was named Hazon’s Person of the Year for the 2009 Ride. Howard was also a top 10 fundraiser for the 2008 and 2009 rides, and recruited the largest team on the 2009 Ride, so he knows what it’s like to be on the fundraising and recruitment side.
• Member of UJA-Federation’s Management Assistance Program (MAP) to support their member agencies. We have worked on three projects on a pro bono basis including brand development, implementation and development. Read the Spotlight on Howard.
• Member of the Steering Committee as Design Director of J2J Network, developing the brand and promotion for this networking organization to foster community among Jewish professionals.
• Member of the Behrman House Consulting Group, providing strategic advice to Jewish schools, congregations and organizations. Read more.
