Meet, Eat, and Learn
Looking for new ideas? Wondering what your peers in the nonprofit sector are thinking? Just looking to get out of the office and meet some new people? What’s Working Networking Dinners is the answer.
Nonprofit executives, development officers and board members as well as consultants serving nonprofits are invited to join this monthly discussion of what’s working in the nonprofit sector. Our informal dinner discussion addresses a different topic every month - see the 2010 Calendar for details. We explore the trends and issues affecting nonprofits including management, marketing, technology, HR, and of course, fundraising.
Join us for lively discussion with your peers in a no-pressure environment over dinner. We typically have 8 to 10 attendees at each dinner, so it is intimate enough to participate and to get to know everyone. You will leave with new ideas, fresh perspectives on current challenges, and introductions that lead to fruitful relationships.
Format
A seated dinner with a round of introductions so that everyone can meet and then dinner and group discussion.
When
On the second Tuesday of the month from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm – see 2010 Calendar.
Where
East of Eighth Restaurant, 254 West 23rd Street (between 7th and 8th Avenues), Manhattan
How

“I have attended several of your Nonprofit Consultants Dinners, but one stands out: the evening I met Suzanne Bronski from MarketcomPR. Nearly a year later when I sought to engage an agency for my business, I remembered Suzanne and reconnected. Marketcom has been our agency ever since. Your small dinners make it very comfortable getting to know everyone well over a drink and a meal. I enjoy attending as often as I can and I recommend them highly.â€
